Linda Roberts
Linda is a trusted adviser to her clients: the result of working with business owners for over 30 years, helping clients and their teams to develop strategies and work towards successful solutions to different challenges throughout the business lifecycle. Linda is dedicated to gaining a thorough understanding of her client’s business affairs with considerable experience in providing family businesses with accounting and taxation services. With many long term clients, Linda’s advice also extends to assisting with succession planning and estate planning.
Linda leads our Litigation Support Services team assisting lawyers with the financial and taxation aspects that arise in litigation matters. Linda has assisted in family law matters, estate disputes and commercial litigation matters. Linda’s business services and taxation experience allows her to work at the highest level with legal professionals and is not afraid to tackle complex matters. Linda takes a diligent, pragmatic and balanced approach in the support she provides to legal professionals to identify solutions for their clients. Linda understands litigation matters can sometimes take unexpected paths, however when this occurs a strong working relationship between her and legal is the key to achieving good outcomes for their clients in a timely manner.
Another key area of Linda’s expertise at Maxim is self-managed superannuation funds (SMSF). Linda is a key adviser in Maxim’s superannuation engagements, ensuring our clients are compliant in the technical and practical application of SMSF provisions. Linda has assisted many clients with a variety of complex wealth accumulation strategies within their SMSF's, including business real property purchases, limited recourse loan arrangements to purchase assets, transition to retirement strategies and pension planning.
