Lisa Stone – B. Commerce in Accounting, FCA, Registered Tax Agent

Lisa joined MPB in August 1997, having spent seven years with Coopers & Lybrand and Ernst & Young. She is a chartered accountant and tax agent and specialises in helping businesses with all accounting, tax, financial and general business issues.

Lisa’s considerable experience with private sector clients enables her to be commercially focused and identify areas for improvement within a business. This includes the use of business plans, re-financing a business debt, reviewing and improving financial reporting systems, and restructuring businesses and their associated entities to gain commercial flexibility and tax advantages.

Lisa has had extensive experience in providing litigation support to family law solicitors. Her client base covers a wide range of industries, including property development, building, real estate, medical, tourism and hospitality and service industries.

Lisa has been recognised by her profession by acting as the 2009 Chairperson of the ACT Regional Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
