Maxim Invitational

Dear Maxim Clients, Associates and Friends,

Its nearly that exciting time again! We invite you to save the date for the 2012 Maxim Invitational Tennis Tournament. A little more notice this time so you can all finetune those big first serves over the break and pick up some tips from the Aussie Open.

Next year it is going to be substantially bigger and better with the tournament doubling in size to provide some tough competition, great networking, personal fitness and even more much needed funds for a local charity.

By way of background for those that were unable to attend last year, Maxim kicked off our invitational tournament by raising $ 40,000 for the Starlight Children’s Foundation. The day was a huge success. Next year we are doubling the size of the tournament, looking to have 30 corporate teams fighting it out to have their name on the perpetual trophy. We have set a target to raise over $ 100,000 for local charities from the event on February 16, 2012. To maximise the funds raised on the day, our firm funds all of the out of pocket costs of the day including catering, coaches and promotional materials. The event is professionally run and promoted, raising the awareness of tennis by being showcased across all forms of the local media and stimulating great involvement in tennis amongst a large corporate group.

The event will involve a round robin format with a number of pools with a semi final and final. An informal drinks party will support the playing of the finals and we encourage people from your organisation to come along, enjoy a drink and some networking. Teams will be a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 who can rotate during the day. Matches are only fifteen minute duration but there are obviously a large number of matches to play. If your organisation is not comfortable filling a whole team or funding the whole of the donation cost, please contact us and we may be able to combine some teams or join you up with other in a similar position.

Hoping you can join us in making this day a great success.

If you have any queries regarding the day and the event, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Yours sincerely
Mark Peatey
