The firm is organised into service teams that are headed up by one of five partners. Service teams are responsible for their own portfolio of clients and are supervised by a managing accountant, usually a partner.
Maxim employs the mentor system where new graduates share offices with senior accountants. This has proven beneficial for the development of a graduate’s career, professional development and social orientation into the firm.

Study Support & Training
Maxim is dedicated to staff training and advancement. A combination of training through the ICAA and individualised training providers as well as weekly in-house training and on-the-job training ensures staff achieve the career they desire.
Maxim's commitment to supporting its staff with their studies, is demonstrated by the provision of two days study leave per subject each semester.
Undergraduates & Postgraduates
Maxim currently has a third of its staff enrolled at universities. We employ both full-time and part-time students who are able to put to practice their technical knowledge learnt at university. We are flexible with student timetables and exam periods and make available all resources in the firm to undergraduates and postgraduates to assist them with their studies. Maxim allows two days study leave per subject each semester.
CA Students
Staff eligible to enrol in the CA Program have a co-ordinator available to them to assist with various areas of their subjects as well as make resources available to them to ensure they complete the program successfully. We will also pay for enrolment fees and reference material and will allow three study days per module.
Weekly In-house Training
Maxim conducts informative weekly in-house training which is delivered by partners, staff, government department representatives and other representatives from relevant industries such as finance, insurance and information technology.
